Wynne Unit shares land and many inmate operations with the Holliday Unit. Wynne Unit includes 2,300 in the main unit and an additional 321 offenders in the Trusty Camp ranging in custody levels from G1 to G4. The facility opened in 1883 and opened as the current unit in 1939.
